Belong — a place to feel at home

Working hand in hand with families, we are creating a space where every child feels safe, known and understood—free to be their own unique and wonderful self.

For babies and children from six months to five years, at our Worthing nursery from early 2027.

Hand in hand with families

You belong here too, not only your child

The Curious Collective is a nursery built around children—their families, early years professionals and our local community coming together. You know your child better than anyone, so we work hand in hand with you, and what you tell us about them shapes how we care for them here.

Families are part of nursery life, through shared stories, family traditions and parent workshops. Home languages, cultures and traditions are welcomed. They are part of who your child is, and so they are part of the nursery.

Spaces that nurture

Warm, natural and thoughtfully designed

Our spaces are warm, natural and thoughtfully designed: open-ended spaces for creativity, and calm, uncluttered areas for unhurried play. Nothing is cluttered or loud, so a baby or a four-year-old can settle into what they are doing and stay there.

Children help shape the spaces around them. The room is theirs to arrange.

Nourishing little adventurers

Hot lunches and hot dinners, served the way a family does

Our nursery food partners deliver freshly prepared hot lunches and hot dinners. Mealtimes are relaxed and family-style: children help set the table and serve each other, and nobody is hurried.

For a parent collecting at the end of a working day, a hot dinner already eaten means the evening at home can be slower too.
